Professor Richard Day MBBS MD FRACP
is Professor of Clinical Pharmacology at UNSW and St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, visiting Academic Fellow at Macquarie University Sydney with appointments to public and private hospitals. He has a clinical practice in Clinical Pharmacology, Clinical Toxicology and Rheumatology. He has particular interests in promoting the quality of use of medicines (QUM). His research focuses on QUM and the pharmacotherapy of gout, diabetes and infectious diseases. He is also researching methods of enhancing the safe use of medicines using electronic medication management and decision support tools.
